• License update - passed driving test with flying colors, but how can they give me a license in only 5 trips ? more on April 14.
• Submitting EMB magazine article today.

• Good news - no more classes after this semester.. all requirements taken care of.
• Driving test - the fifth episode tomorrow.
• Final neuroscience exam on 4th april, must do well.

• Well, I'd said that I'd pay for not mugging well.. and I did in both the exams so far. 1 more to go. must crack it.
• This week plan to mug fulltime, also need to send out magazine article.

• Saw thai flick ong-bak over the weekend... good fun !!
• Week on.. classes on.. consistently missing the 1st lecture :(
• Saw Sideways... nice movie..
• Testing various materials for dopamine detection today.

• Done with the paper... sent for comments.
• Classes tomorrow... and hajjar work next week :(
• The week's break was much needed, very nice and productive.

• Well... done for the day.. in general happy.. perhaps a little bit more text would be nice..

• Still working on the emb magazine paper... almost over.. dont really want to leave it till tomorrow. looking good if i say so myself.
• Driving test planned on 31 march.. hopefully i'll be fifth time lucky.

• Phew, just completed redoing rfpstat board.. will start on some dopamine data analysis now... no enthu actually.. will do tomorrow. Also emb mag paper.

• Did decent dopamine stuff today.. satisfied.. will analyse and put up some results.
• Major work next weekend on rfpstat and new pcb.
• Classes rebegin next week :(
• Also, must finish revision of emb magazine paper over the weekend.

• Thoughts about yesterday (march 17)
  • Got potentiostat monitor working pseudly.
  • Reference electrodes got majorly screwed up so wasted 6 hours of my life.
  • Went to pavak's place with shiva and soma.. nice grub.
• Today, got references fixed... so putting another 6 hours on the line.

• Pavaks and Shiva came to jhu for ciss 2005.. soma will come later .. nice fun.
• Must get potentiostat matlab monitor working today.

• Got my ipod !!! very nice !!
• Back from very good trip to austin.. great time with dog and tuhin.
• Crap, i hate doing extremely careful experiments that dont work for no apparent reason.. the second set of glutamate experiments bombed.
• Tomorrow plan to try finalize potentiostat matlab monitor. maybe some dopamine stuff.
• Friday try some radical rat stuff.

• Well, I surely remember how to do stuff.. no classes today so did kick ass glutamate test. More on monday with pictures.

• Classes really really completely fully totally entirely suck. I mean they're interesting but still... too intense. Hats off to doctors.
• Wednesday major glutamate test (please god, give me the enthu to be able to do it)

• Frustrated in life... med school classes are so draining.. dont feel like doing anything else at all. desperately need a break.

• Crap, exam on tuesday and i dont study.. preferring to read asimov or play quake.. man i'm going to suffer for all this sometime.
• I'd like to throw away my small monitor and get another sony 21" monster.

• Got (and heard) Stereo MCs Connected after ages !!

• Platinum detects Dopamine pretty well.
• Compiled kernel 2.6.10 to get rid of jerky mouse. Worked but something else screwed up :(
• Finished taxes today.

• Excited about doing some stuff with the potentiostat at drexel.
• Classes on, seem ok.
• GPIB rocks.

• Widescreen bonanza - Hitch. Nice !!
• Widescreen is when you have to turn your neck to see the other side of the screen.

• Med schools class (neuroscience) started. Seems nice, only problem is getting up at 0645.

• Saw HoFD 3 meters from a huge theater screen. Widescreen the way it's meant to be !!
• Got more music, Judas Priest seems nice. Also HoFD soundtrack.
• Almost finished draft of EMB magazine paper !!
• UT2004 assault is too difficul to play with DUMB bots :(

• Well, some more thoughtless days have passed.
• Classes start 8th feb :(

• Austin trip is happening spring break mar 11-14.
• Thunderbird got vim support, tried it, but why ?

• House of Flying Daggers soundtrack is awesome. Must buy soon.
• Did lot of very overdue lab website work.
• Zhang Ziyi is very pretty.
• Theme from Once Upon a Time in China is great.

• Massive chinese weekend.. Once Upon a Time in China I, II & III; God of Gamblers and Return of God of Gamblers.
• Figured out the problem with the wireless keyboard/mouse, moved the reciever away from the monitor. Works just fine !!
• Must finish emb magazine article soon :(

• Hajjar snow over the weekend. Yay !!!

• Saw House of Flying Daggers. Very well shot, but I liked the story of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon more. Lot of parallels !!
• My DVD writer rocks !!
• Crap, I think my monitors are screwing up the wireless keyboard/mouse :(

• I hate missing fedex packages. Still waiting for DVD drive.
• Bitterly cold today.. snow tomorrow.

• Back from nice trips to vegas and singapore for 'conference'. Great time.
• 14 hour flights are not very enjoyable.

• Bought X620 6.1 speakers. Hopefully will buy an Audigy2 to go with it.
• Got my Singapare visa today for BioCAS
• Leaving for Vegas tomorrow.. hope to have a great time.

• Ok, so here is one more attempt to update this page a little more frquently than usual. Here's a quick summary of life since thesis.
  • Finished thesis and graduated 2.2MB and 120 pages.
  • Presented my potentiostat at EMBS and won a student prize; had a great time in california.
  • Got a 200GB hdd, a 21 inch monitor and an ATI 9600. Dual monitors rock !!
  • Started classes - forgotten all maths. Did Immunology, Models of Neuron and FEM.
  • Going to Vegas for thanksgiving - meeting up localiits.
  • Going to Singapore for another potentiostat conference - visa is still dicey.
