Yakhni Pulao
No experimentation here. Straight from mom's kitchen. Yakhni is the muslin bag with the onions and ginger/garlic/chillies in it. Very mild and flavorful.
stuff needed
1. meat
2. yoghurt
3. ginger-garlic paste
4. salt (to taste)
5. onions
6. cinnamon
7. cardamom
8. curry leaves
9. rice
10. garam masala
11. green chillies
how to make
1. immerse rice in twice as much water by volume.
2. hack meat and onions. some onions + ginger-garlic paste + chilies go into the bag.

3. pressure cook meat + bag + garam masala + salt. after cooking, keep stock aside. squeeze more stock out of the bag.

4. drain water from rice. measure equal amount of above made stock. make up the volume by pure stock if need be.
5. in oil fry curry leaves, cardamom, cinnamon. add onions and ginger-garlic paste, garam masala and salt.

6. add meat and curd.

7. after a while add rice and stock. cook open on low flame. liquids will start evaporating and rice will essentially get cooked in stock.

8. keep on low flame till rice fully cooked. done.
